Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
|
Last week our team headed to Louisville for Equip Show 2025, aka battery OPE heaven. We spent serious time at the EGO Power+ booth to see what’s next on their 56V platform, and the theme was crystal clear: lighter gear, smarter power, and bigger options for crews who want to ditch gas without losing performance.
If you’re ready to gear up now, we’ve got a full lineup of in-stock EGO tools, batteries, and accessories right here at Ohio Power Tool:

The 30″ Super Composite Deck Mower (LM3004SP-2)
Coming Soon

Think wide cut, easy handling. The deck is a tough “super composite,” so it won’t rust and it shrugs off debris. It’s also lighter than steel, which makes loading a lot less of a workout. Dual motors spin a dual-blade setup up to 3,800 RPM, and EGO rates torque at 13.2 ft-lbs. Translation: clean cut quality without wrestling the mower all day. The deck is backed by a 10-year limited warranty, which tells you how confident they are in the material.
The 18″ Chainsaw
(CS1815)
Coming Soon

EGO’s 18″ chainsaw aims squarely at 50cc gas performance, minus the fumes. A 2500W brushless motor spins the chain up to 22 m/s for fast cuts, while toolless tensioning, aggressive bucking spikes, a speed-select mode, and a bright on-tool LED display help you work smarter. With a 6.0Ah battery, EGO is touting up to 320 cuts on 4×4 (application-dependent, of course).
Z6 Zero Turn with e-STEER
(ZT4215S)
Arriving Spring 2026

Drives like a car, turns like a ZTR. The next-gen Z6 tightens up the electronics and user interface (blade engage is now on the touchscreen), bumps torque and keeps the modular battery approach so you can combine up to six 56V ARC Lithium batteries. Expect about two acres per charge depending on your pack mix. It’s quieter than gas and easier for new operators to learn than lap bars.
POWER+ 42″ Z6 Zero Turn Riding Mower
(Six 6.0Ah Batteries) (ZT4214L)
Arriving Spring 2026

If you want the next-gen Z6 experience without going all the way up to e-STEER, the ZT4214L lands right in the sweet spot. With Peak Power you can combine up to six 56V ARC Lithium batteries; this configuration ships with six 6.0Ah packs and an 800W charger for up to 1.5 acres per charge (usage and conditions will vary). You still get the refined wide frame and suspension for balance on slopes, the new color screen to dial in settings, USB-C device charging, and the quiet, low-maintenance performance folks want from battery ZTRs, 24-HP gas equivalent, zero fumes, zero oil changes.
POWER+ 52″ Z6 Zero Turn Riding Mower
(Six 10.0Ah Batteries) (ZT5216L)
Arriving Spring 2026

For bigger turf and fewer passes, step up to the ZT5216L. The 52″ deck boosts productivity while Peak Power combines up to six 56V batteries, this model includes six 10.0Ah packs for a claimed 3.0 acres per charge (conditions depending). It’s rated at a 27-HP gas equivalent, with the same next-gen chassis improvements: wider frame, suspension for stability, new color screen UX, and USB-C onboard. You’ll get that smooth, 360-degree zero-turn feel with far less noise than gas, perfect for dawn or HOA-sensitive mowing.
Nexus 1400W Portable Power Station (PST1405-2)
Coming soon

Smaller and easier to carry than the 3000W unit, but still accepts four EGO batteries. The standout is true pass-through power: you can charge your batteries while powering devices. Add dual USB-A, dual USB-C, three 120V outlets, and a solar input and you’ve got a flexible box for tailgates, campsites, trailers, and light home backup.
Big batteries and bigger mowers
2027 and beyond
EGO previewed a 40Ah battery built for upcoming zero turns and stand-ons in 48″, 54″, and 60″. The idea is you buy the mower bare and size your battery investment to your actual acreage. Off-season, those big packs can drop into a power-bank rack to fast-charge handheld batteries DC-to-DC—nice way to keep the fleet rolling year-round.
EGO x John Deere
(Z370RS)
Launching 2026

This is a big industry signal. John Deere’s 42″ Z-TRAK will run on EGO’s battery ecosystem starting in 2026, which widens compatibility and confidence for folks already in the 56V world, and gives green-and-yellow loyalists a proven battery option out of the gate.
POWER+ Compact Inflator
(IF1600)
Coming soon

Handy at home, on the truck, or at the campsite. The 160 PSI compact inflator supports high-pressure, high-volume, and deflate modes with four memory presets for quick target PSI. A removable magnetic activity light (up to 300 lumens) doubles as a campsite/roadside helper and even lets you adjust color temperature to attract fewer bugs. While docked, the light’s internal battery auto-charges.
Mini Bikes, Fan Favorites & What’s Next
Yes, the EGO mini bikes drew a crowd again. And we heard plenty of wish-list chatter about a side-by-side or larger off-road lineup. Nothing official there (yet), but clearly the enthusiasm is real. Most of these are “coming soon,” with the Z6 e-STEER set for Spring 2026, the John Deere Z-TRAK in 2026, and the big ZTR/stand-on lineup beginning in 2027. If you need tools today, we’ve got plenty of EGO kits, skins, and batteries in stock, and we can help you plan for what’s coming so you’re not buying twice.
EGO Power+ continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in battery powered outdoor equipment, proving that “cordless” doesn’t have to mean compromise. Whether you’re managing a professional landscaping crew, maintaining your property, or simply tired of dealing with gas, their latest lineup offers smarter, cleaner, and more powerful solutions across every level of work. And as always, Ohio Power Tool is here to help you stay ahead of the curve—with expert advice, in-stock tools, and updates on every new release from EGO and beyond.
