Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Sometimes, you don’t need a big, heavy power tool to get the job done. You just need something that works, fits in your hand, and makes your life a little easier.

That’s the idea behind the new SKIL PWRCORE GO System, a lineup of compact, rechargeable tools designed to take the hassle out of everyday jobs. Whether you’re assembling furniture, tightening bolts, working on your bike, or making quick repairs, SKIL is bringing some pretty clever features to tools you can easily keep within reach.

And we’re not just talking about smaller versions of the tools you already own. SKIL is introducing some interesting designs, including what it calls the industry’s first powered folding hex key, a ratchet that works with both sockets and screwdriver bits, and a compact power driver that can handle three different jobs.

SKIL Folding Hex Key w/ Bit Set and Hand Strap
(HK0001-03)

We’ve all been there. You’re putting together furniture, tightening something on your bike, or working on a piece of equipment, and you find yourself turning an Allen wrench a quarter turn at a time. It’s one of those little things that gets frustrating pretty quickly.

Well, SKIL decided to do something about it.

Meet the SKIL PWRCORE GO Folding Hex Key (HK0001-03), which SKIL calls the industry’s first powered hex key. Instead of constantly removing and repositioning your Allen wrench, you can tighten or loosen fasteners with the push of a button.

Pretty simple idea, but think about how much time that could save when you’re working with a bunch of hex screws.

And there’s more to it than just a motor. The head folds and locks into three different positions: 90°, 135°, and 180°. So whether you’re reaching inside a cabinet, working behind furniture, or adjusting something on a bicycle, you can position the tool to make the job more comfortable.

It also has onboard storage for up to five bits, so you’re not constantly digging around looking for the right size. There’s even an LED light to help you see what you’re doing in darker spaces.

Here’s what makes it stand out:
-Powered forward and reverse operation for faster fastening.
-Folding head with three locking positions: 90°, 135°, and 180°.
-Onboard storage for up to five bits.
-Built-in LED work light.
-USB-C charging, so you don’t need a separate specialty charger.
-Compact design that’s easy to store and grab when needed.

Both versions include an 11-piece bit set with common hex, Phillips, Pozidriv, Torx, square, and slotted sizes. The HK0001-03 also includes a hand strap.

If you regularly assemble furniture, work on bikes, or deal with hex fasteners, this is one of those tools that makes you wonder why someone didn’t come up with it sooner.

SKIL PWRCORE GO Dual Drive Ratchet Wrench
(RW0010-01)

How often do you switch between a ratchet and a screwdriver while working on something?

SKIL’s new Dual Drive Ratchet Wrench (RW0010-01) is designed to save you that extra step.

It combines a 1/4-inch socket anvil and a 1/4-inch hex bit collet in one compact tool. That means you can go from working with nuts and bolts to driving screws without putting one tool down and grabbing another.

The electric ratchet runs at speeds up to 210 RPM, making it a convenient option when you’ve got several fasteners to remove or install.

Let’s say you’re dealing with a bolt that’s a little too tight. You can break it loose manually, then let the motor do the repetitive turning. When you’re finished, you can use the manual function again for final tightening.

That’s a pretty useful combination, especially when you’re working in tight spaces where swinging a traditional ratchet isn’t always easy.

The tool also features a quick-touch forward and reverse switch, LED direction indicators, and two built-in LED lights to help you see what you’re working on.

-Up to 210 RPM for faster fastening and removal.
-Manual ratchet function for stubborn fasteners and final tightening.
-Push-button forward and reverse operation.
-USB-C rechargeable battery.
-Includes four sockets, five driver bits, an adapter, and storage holders.

Whether you’re working on a vehicle, making adjustments to equipment, or handling maintenance around the shop, having a powered ratchet and bit driver in one tool could save you quite a bit of back-and-forth.

SKIL PWRCORE GO Power Driver
(SD561801)

Sometimes a screwdriver isn’t enough, but pulling out a full-size drill or impact driver feels like overkill.

That’s where the SKIL PWRCORE GO Power Driver (SD561801) comes in.

This little tool combines impact driving, drilling, and screwdriving into one compact design.

And don’t let the size fool you. It delivers up to 200″ pounds of torque and speeds up to 3,000 RPM, giving it the ability to handle a wide range of everyday fastening and light drilling applications.

Need to install a shelf? Tighten cabinet hardware? Drive screws into a wood stud? This tool is designed for those kinds of jobs.

The variable-speed trigger lets you control how quickly the bit turns, which is especially helpful when working with smaller fasteners or materials that need a lighter touch.

It also features a locking 1/4″ hex collet to keep your bits secure and an integrated LED light for those awkward corners where you can barely see the screw you’re trying to drive.

And because it’s compact, it’s easier to maneuver in cabinets, closets, and other places where larger tools can get in the way.

-Three-in-one impact driver, drill, and screwdriver.
-Up to 200 in-lbs of torque.
-Variable speed up to 3,000 RPM.
-Locking 1/4-inch hex collet for secure bit retention.
-Built-in LED work light.
-Compact design for working in tight spaces.
-Convenient USB-C charging.

The SD561801 includes a nine-piece bit set with additional fastening options.

This could be a handy tool to keep around for quick installations, light maintenance, and smaller fastening jobs when you don’t need to bring out the big guns.

SKIL PWRCORE GO Compact Travel Inflator (IF0150-01)

You know what’s frustrating? Getting ready to leave and realizing one of your tires is low.

Even worse is having to find an air compressor or drive somewhere just to add a few PSI.

The SKIL PWRCORE GO Compact Travel Inflator (IF0150-01) is designed to make that situation a whole lot easier.

It’s small enough to fit in a glove box, backpack, or travel bag, but it’s capable of inflating a 195/65 R15 tire from 30 to 36 PSI in under 60 seconds.

That’s pretty impressive for something this compact.

One of the nicest features is the digital pressure control. Instead of guessing when you’ve added enough air, you simply select your desired PSI, and the inflator automatically shuts off when it reaches that pressure.

And if you regularly inflate something to the same pressure, Memory Mode remembers your last setting so you don’t have to enter it every time.

SKIL even included an LED light, which could come in handy when you’re checking tire pressure in a dark garage or dealing with a low tire at night.

-Five preset inflation modes.
-Digital pressure control with automatic shutoff.
-Memory Mode that saves your last-used PSI setting.
-Built-in LED lighting.
-USB-C rechargeable design.
-Compact size for easy storage in a vehicle or travel bag.
-The kit also includes the hoses, adapters, charging cable, soft storage bag, and hard travel case.

This is one of those tools you might not think about every day, but when you need it, you’ll be glad you have it. Whether you’re maintaining vehicle tires, getting your bike ready, or inflating equipment, it’s a convenient thing to keep close by.

SKIL Twist 2.0 Rechargeable 4V Screwdriver (SD5619-01)

If you’ve ever tried tightening a screw in the back of a cabinet or underneath a shelf, you know how awkward it can get.

Your hand barely fits, the screwdriver is at the wrong angle, and suddenly a simple job takes way longer than it should.

The SKIL Twist 2.0 Rechargeable 4V Screwdriver (SD5619-01) is designed to help with exactly that.

Its standout feature is a pivoting head that locks into three positions: 0°, 22.5°, and 45°.

That means you can adjust the angle of the screwdriver to get a more comfortable grip, especially when you’re working in confined spaces.

It also offers three torque settings, so you can adjust the power depending on what you’re fastening. That’s particularly useful when you’re dealing with smaller screws or working on materials where you don’t want to overtighten anything.

The forward and reverse trigger is positioned for easy one-finger operation, and there’s a built-in LED light to help illuminate the work area.

And just like the other rechargeable tools we’re covering, the Twist 2.0 features convenient USB-C charging.

-Rechargeable 4V electric screwdriver.
-Pivoting head with 0°, 22.5°, and 45° positions.
-Three adjustable torque settings.
-Easy one-finger forward and reverse operation.
-Includes two screwdriver bits and a charging cable.

Sometimes the best tool isn’t the one with the most power. It’s the one that makes an awkward job easier. For cabinet hardware, furniture assembly, and smaller fastening tasks, the Twist 2.0 looks like a practical addition to a toolbox.
