At Milwaukee’s Annual Pipeline Event, they announced and demoed multiple new tools including the new M18 FUEL 7-¼” Circular Saw w/ 24T Thick Kerf Blade (2834-20). Paired with the new RedLithium Forge HD12.0 Batteries this new saw can deliver 6,000 RPM with its POWERSTATE Brushless Motor and maintain high speed under a heavy load. Milwaukee’s latest circular saw represents a significant advancement for professionals in the carpentry, remodeling, and contracting fields. Its impressive battery efficiency allows for up to 750 cuts per charge, with carefully designed bevel detents at 22.5 and 45 degrees. It also has depth detents at 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1-1/2″ to enhance productivity by minimizing downtime.
At the heart of this saw is the cutting-edge 24T Thick Kerf Blade. Offering the straightest cuts and ultimate stability making the teeth stay sharper for longer. This cobalt-infused carbide blade is one of the highest performing Thick Kerf Blade made from Milwaukee. With its 5/8″ arbor hole with a diamond knockout, this blade is compatible and can be optimized with many tools. Great to use with Softwoods, Hardwoods, Wet Lumber, Treated Lumber, and Laminated Woods such as Plywood, OSB, LVL, PSL, LSL & OSL.
This saw has the integration of REDLINK PLUS electronics ensuring optimal performance while safeguarding against common issues like overload, overheating, and over-discharge.
The saw also features an electric blade break, LED work light, rafter hook, and all magnesium guards and shoes. This new circular saw is set to replace the previous Milwaukee model, the M18 FUEL 7-1/4″ Circular Saw (2732-20). Sharing majority of the main features, the new saw provides more power and is paired with a new blade to increase durability, sharpness, and versatility with multiple materials.
Available as a bare tool including the circular saw blade, vacuum adapter, and blade wrench for $249, or a kit for $449 (2834-21HD) that includes the saw, a M18 RedLithium Forge HD12.0 Battery Pack (48-11-1813), the Thin Kerf Saw Blade (48-40-0740), M18 & M12 Rapid Charger (48-59-1808), vacuum adaptor, blade wrench, and contractor bag.
