The highly anticipated power supply that Milwaukee announced earlier in the year is finally available to order! They let us test out the MX FUEL 3,600/1,800 Watt Carry-On Power Supply (MXF002-2XC) back in June, but we didn’t have any of the official information. We thought it was impressive before, powering a full band set for over an hour out in our parking lot without wavering, but now we’ve got all of the specs for you to make up your own opinion on it–and we think you’re going to like it.
The Milwaukee MX FUEL Carry-On Power Supply is a portable generator that provides the best temporary power for the job. You can get tons of power on-demand that is efficient, quiet, and portable anywhere. This machine provides 3,600 peak watts, 1,800 continuous watts of pure sine inverter energy, to power everything from high demand 15A tools to your sensitive electronics such as phones, tablets and laptops.
One of the best features about the new Carry-On is that it is compact, quiet, and releases no emissions, so you can truly use it anywhere–inside or out. It measures 15″ x 12″ x 20.8″ (L x W x H) and weighs just 49 lbs–much less than comparable power supplies from other manufacturers. The metal roll cage also provides extra durability so that you can take it on the go and use it at any outdoor jobsite. The Carry-On is also user friendly, utilizing a push button start to get it running in seconds, faster than ever before by eliminating the repetitive motions of pull starts.
The beauty of using a battery-powered generator is that it can save you both time and money in the long run. Using battery power eliminates the cost of gasoline and it doesn’t require engine repair or maintenance, which reduces downtime waiting you could face using other generators. Not only can you power your devices with the Carry-On, but you can also power more batteries and chargers. The Carry-On Power Supply can sequentially charge a CP203 battery in 45 minutes and a XC406 battery in 90 minutes. It’s compatible with all Milwaukee MX FUEL REDLITHIUM batteries, so you can make sure all of your devices and batteries are charged for when you need them most.
The Carry-On also includes other top-of-the-line Milwaukee features such as REDLINK PLUS INTELLIGENCE, ensuring maximum performance and protection from overload, overheating and over-discharge, and ONE-KEY compatibility so that you can track, manage and secure equipment from your mobile devices or computers.
