This new model features a 360° LED Light that works like a built-in raking light to reveal any unevenness on your work surface. This allows you to get the smoothest finish possible without spending time to rework the area. Festool created the first random orbital sander in 1982, and has continued perfecting their design since then to deliver more precise and user-friendly sanding applications. The added visibility from the LED light paired with its random orbit sanding motion guarantees a smooth, groove-free surface with each use.

Extended Reach and Lightweight Design

The t-design handle can be extended up to 47-1/4" in length to easily access hard-to-reach and high up areas.

The PLANEX LHS 2 225 drywall sander now has adjustable suction power which allows you to sand down different surfaces easily and comfortably. The sander holds its weight against walls and ceilings to reduce the strain on your arms and back when using for extended amounts of time. You can easily adjust the work length of the sander for added flexibility when working in hard-to-reach areas. Up to 2 extensions can be added for optimum reach. Its ergonomic t-design handle creates a further reach with less weight to prevent fatigue while in use. The t-handle reaches up to 65” in length, providing the optimum size for any work situation.

Zero Maintenance, Dust-Free Sanding

This drywall sander is mess free when combined with the dust extractor. Cleanup after a larger sanding project is often one of the biggest hassles. Luckily, the PLANEX sander eliminates this step completely. Dust and debris are sucked up immediately, keeping your workspace clean at all times.

The PLANEX sander is lightweight and easy to travel with in the Systainer3 case.

This tool requires zero maintenance and is incredibly durable. The brushless EC motor is extremely robust and long-lasting, so you don’t have to worry about it wearing out over time. Additionally, the PLANEX sander is compact and travels easily in the Systainer3 XXL case.
