Milwaukee’s second generation of angled finish nailers are setting a new industry standard for performance and efficiency with finishing projects. Their 15 and 16 Gauge Angled Finish Nailers deliver consistently clean nail holes and are compatible with their M18 REDLITHIUM batteries, eliminating the hassle of using compressors and hoses that you need for similar pneumatic tools.

Clean Nail Holes

These new finish nailers are designed to consistently sink nails in both hard and soft woods. These are a great tool for applying finishing materials like trim, crown molding, baseboards, cabinets, chair rails, hardwood flooring, and more. You can use these tools in both sequential and contact actuation firing modes depending on which is preferred for your application. The new 15 and 16 Gauge Angled Finish Nailers also have a tool-free jam-clearing latch to maintain consistent firing throughout your project.

Nitrogen Air Spring Mechanism

These finish nailers use a nitrogen air spring mechanism to deliver best-in-class performance, durability, and ergonomics of pneumatic tools without the air compressors and hoses needed by pneumatic finish nailers. The air spring mechanism is made up of an inner and outer cylinder that is separated by nitrogen gas. The nitrogen gas creates pressure in the inner cylinder that is used to activate the striker and piston. Since this tool is constantly under pressure in the cylinder, it does not have any ramp up time between uses, making contact firing in larger applications much quicker. The M18 Finish Nailers can drive 750 nails per charge and 3 nails per second for maximum efficiency on the jobsite.

Compact Size

Since the release of the Gen 1 15 and 16 Gauge Finish Nailers, Milwaukee has taken into consideration a lot of user complaints regarding the design of the finish nailers. They adjusted the angle of the battery and the magazine lock, as well as the placement of the belt hook to make it more user friendly. The new Gen 2 model (pictured below on the left) is slightly more compact in size than the Gen 1 (pictured below on the right), so it can fit better into tight spaces and causes less fatigue with repeated use. You also get a better line of sight from the Gen 2 Finish Nailers because of their slimmer design. This, paired with the built-in LED work light, makes for the most precise finish nailing possible.
