Tool Gifting Tips

Picking out tools for others can be tough! Here are some important tips to keep in mind to help you with your decision making.

• Be sure that any power tools you are purchasing either come with a battery, or are compatible with the battery platform the person that you are shopping for already owns. If they currently only own Milwaukee M12 tools but you get them an M18, Makita, etc. tool, they will need a battery as well! If a product says ‘Bare Tool’, no battery is included.
• Lithium-Ion batteries can not be shipped by air. Allow extra shipping time for batteries or kits with LI batteries included!
• Many tools have accessories available that are not included with your purchase, but can be the perfect add-on!
• A ‘Starter Kit’ that often comes with Kits or as an added on promotion includes a battery that is compatible with that product as well as a battery charger.
• Select items are on Pre-Order, meaning that the manufacturer hasn’t shipped any product out yet. These are new items that may be in high demand and may not arrive on time for the holidays, but still make an excellent and exciting gift!
• Check back on items with *** during Black Friday Weekend for extra savings! Keep in mind, however, that demand is high at this time, so some items may sell out!
